The area of figure ABCDE:

A = the area of triangle ABE + the area of square BCDE

  = area 1 + area 2

  = A₁ + A₂

AE = ED = 8 cm

BE = CD = 8 cm

1st solution

A₁ = the area of triangle ABE

A₁ = [tex]\frac{1}{2} \times AE \times BE[/tex]

A₁ = [tex]\frac{1}{2} \times 8 \times 8[/tex]

A₁ = 4 × 8 = 32 cm²

A₂ = the area of square BCDE

A₂ = ED × CD

A₂ = 8 × 8 = 64 cm²

So, A = area 1 + area 2 = A₁ + A₂  = 32 cm² + 64 cm² = 96 cm²

2nd solution

The area of triangle ABE = 1/2 × the area of square BCDE, because AE = ED, and it's obvious that BE = CD.

So, the area of figure ABCDE = (1/2 + 1) × the area of square BCDE

[tex]Area_{ABCDE} = (1 + \frac{1}{2} ) \times Area_{BCDE}\\= \frac{3}{2} \times Area_{BCDE}\\= \frac{3}{2} \times (8 \times 8)\\= \frac{3}{2} \times 64\\= 3 \times 32\\= {\bf 96\:cm^2}[/tex]

= √(9 x 4 x 4 x 1)

Jawaban:

From the questions we know that BCDE is a square and ED = 8cm,

which means BC=CD=ED=EB= 8cm

That means the area for BCDE is side x side or 8 x 8 = 64cm²

since AE = ED and we know that triangle is half of a square

that means the area for ABE = 1/2 x 64= 32cm²

ABCDE = BCDE + ABE

= 64cm² + 32cm²

=96cm²

Pertama, kita akan menghitung luas segitiga di gambar pertama, lalu kita akan mengurangi luas segitiga tersebut dengan luas segitiga di gambar kedua.

              V = ?

L balok = 2 (pl + pt + lt)

             = 2 (8X6 + 8X7 + 6X7)

             = 2 (48+56+42)

             = 2 x 146 = 292 m²

Volume balok = pxlxt

                        = 8 X 6 X 7

                        = 336 m³

Total Luas seluruh bangunan = L prisma segitiga + L balok

                                                 = 248 m² + 292 m² = 540 m²

Total Volume seluruh bangunan = V prisma segitiga + V balok

                                                      = 60 m³ + 336 m³ = 396 m³

Keliling gambar A = 24 cm

Gunakan tripel Pythagoras

Segitiga 3-4-5 adalah segitiga siku-siku dan kelilingnya adalah (3+4+5) cm = 12 cm

Kalau mau dapatkan segitiga siku-siku dengan kelilingnya adalah 24 cm, maka tripel Pythagorasnya adalah 6-8-10 (Cuma dikali 2). Karena XY(alas segitiga) lebih pendek daripada tinggi segitiga, maka XY = 6 cm

Area of square = S x S

= 7 x 7

Radius = Diameter / 2

= [tex]\frac{1}{2}[/tex] x [tex]\frac{22}{7}[/tex] x 3.5²

= 19.25 cm²

Are of the figure = 49 + 19.25 = 68.25 cm²
